Tak kenal maka tak cinta

One of the good things that happen in Ramadhan every year is that those who teaches the afternoon session get to go back early ;) (who's not happy about it?)Though the classes ended early, yet I still have to travel an hour before reaching home.

1 hour = 60 minutes = 3600 secs

Now, that's a lot of seconds.

As to utilize all the time that I have ,while driving, I would usually turn to ikim or hotFM for entertainment.
Ikim would most of the time be intellectually engaging, I love that. It keeps my mind busy. Whereas hotFM, is just for the ears, just for some noise.

I guess the talk on ikim today incited me to update my blog today ;)

It was Brother Shah Kirit talking. I've always adore those who reverted to Islam. Among them: Yusuf Islam, Brother Ridhwan Tee, Yusof Estee, Suhaib Web, Brother Shakour and Matin (my lecturers in IIUM). They have an understanding of Islam that is super much better than myself-one who's a Muslim through heredity. I do feel ashamed of myself and its a fact...

"Iman tak dapat diwarisi dari seorang ayah yang betaqwa" - Raihan.

The DJ asked Shah Kirit," Macam mana anda boleh menjadikan Allah dan Rasul cinta yang pertama-tama sedangkan anda seorang muallaf?"

And he replied, "Mcm pepatah melayu kata, tak kenal maka tak cinta".

So the question now is, "Adakah aku kenal? Adakah aku cinta?"

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Surah al-A'raaf 7:23

Our Lord! We have sinned against ourselves, and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost!

Bila nak kawen?

"Bila nak kawen?" "Bila nak kenduri?" These are the regular questions for me lately. ------------ The above 3 lines were written back in Sept 2015. How time flies. Its May 2018. Single. The questions remain the same. However, through out time people have learnt that jodoh, ajal-maut and rezeki are secrets that only Allah knows. Pray. Pray harder. Note: Back tapping my keyboard. Hello world!

Challenge 1- La Taghdab

B eing a woman is not easy. Moods at all time controls us where, perhaps, at the beginning of the month, we may be the most happiest person in the world, as if “ the world is mine”. Then comes the next week, the world suddenly feels like falling apart- sadness surrounds us. Mood changes, in a normal person, are caused by several reasons. It ranges from environmental to biological and even chemical factors. For instances, drained after 12 hours of working could cause someone to irritate over a small problem such as “ Why do I have to face the traffic jam?” (when the fact is- the route he/she takes is at all time congested during that hour). Research also shown that chemical imbalance in the body such as dopamine, serotonin and others are also contributing factors to mood swing (read from an arti cle). In many of the emotional states, I believe ANGER is the most disastrous state of feeling that every one of us should have in control. One second of anger could change the ...

5 Pesanan Syeikh Ahmad Yassin

Subhanallah No words can describe my guilt for the brothers and sisters in Palestine. Here I am, on my bed with my laptop, have just finished watching two movies while at the part of the world Muslims are tortured and slaved and killed. Reading words of Syeikh Ahmad Yassin made me to update my blog tonight. For the love of brothers and sisters in Islam, I'm spreading the messages of Syeikh Ahmad Yassin: Click here (izinkan share mdthamim) All the words are words of Muhammad. Dear Allah, make me near to you as you are always near to me. Forgive us for all our wrong doings. Guide us, guide us, guide us in becoming true Muslims.
