My 2013 news =)

Oh, had'nt I realize that this blog has been abandoned.

4 months... "the blog" would have asked for a divorce if it were married to me. hehe.

My 2013 news

Health Life:

1. My Herbalife life is a failure. I wasn't committed enough to put all the savoury dishes aside.
2. I'm opting for a natural diet. Calorie control + exercise. Yet, persistence and motivation are crucial!!
3. Asthma life. This year is a bit nasty. Am taking up a different medication (drugs) to control my asthma since it has been attacking every month. But Alhamdulillah, this new drug is working on me. So I'll be consuming it for another 2 months and we'll see how it goes... (p/s: I have not been taking it for almost a week. Tak sempat nak pegi beli laaaa..#bigbrotherisnotwatching#)

Perhaps, I should share more about health in my blog so that it is more focus. Perhaps life of an asthma girl (na..my life is just like the others).Perhaps..I should just write whatever I fell like (much better!)

Working Life:

1. I love my Year 1 pupils. cute and stink. they spread the germs, yet I love them =)
2. Am taking everything slow and steady, just live a life!!
3. Still travelling everyday. I'm kind of enjoying every moment I have in the car. The only time when I can sit and think (other than thinking while bathing..ya I do that).
4. Am applying for a masters program. Just to get myself even busier =)

Love Life:

single and available
(too obvious ha..)

Owh ya, I should share this. They were few time when friends tried to introduce their friends and relatives..But ya, things does'nt work out. I don't mind that, but there was ONCED, a friend was trying to match make me with a guy; who is not even related to her but he's a friend to her friend and she does'nt even know what he is doing!, and she gave my number (and another single friend) to him!!! #mad#

Its not about trying to introduce and make people connected is the problem here. THE PROBLEM IS... If you;re trying to introduce someone to your friend, make sure he/she is someone whom you know and have confidence and trust. DON'T simply give your friends number to anyone.

Do you know what I feel?

#Lelong3seringgit#

However, Alhamdulillah, I was on my conscious mind when the guy contacted. I told him nicely (though he was very pushy..hmm) that I'm not interested.  We don't want to hurt anyone, do we? Come in peace, go in peace.

Ok Done!

Those are all the news for now =)

Coming up, In sha Allah, will be on Election Day (or something else)

hehe

Assalamualaikum!

Mahrams

Salam and Hi This would be my first entry for 2012. Alhamdulillah, manage to find a topic which intrigue me to write a post :P When Islam was revealed to the Prophet pbuh, many rejected the message brought by him. Islam came as a religion which guides everyone in all aspects of life, from worshiping God to the ways we sleep (the adab of sleeping). What makes it more interesting is that it teaches us about the relationship between men and women too. In Islam, there are boundaries between the men and women and as to set the line, the relationship falls into two categories which are: 1. Mahrams 2. Ghayr Mahrams There are various books and sites that could help us to understand further on this topic but here is a link that, InshaAllah, could enlighten us too.   CLICK HERE Other than that, below is a diagram in Malay language which is very helpful in making us to understand the relationship between men and women. My name is Maryam...A'dilla

When I was in primary schools, back in the year 1993 to 1998, many of the friends used to tease my name. Rather than Maryam, they would call me MERIAM (which means cannonball in Bahasa Melayu). I was of course hurt by it. Not that I was fat like a cannonball or fiery, they just love to tease. Well, kids. But anyhow my ears were just too thick to listen to the calls that the annoyance faded with time. Once, I used to ask my parents, “Why did you guys named me Maryam?” and their reasons were very simple, “because your midwife was called Miriam”...”and Maryam is a name that is mentioned in the Quran”. How beautiful. I was named after the name stated in the Quran and also to reminisce the day I was borned, they named me after my midwife (perhaps they were over joyed to have a baby girl in the family). Alhamdulillah, I have a great name. Maryam is the name of the Prophet Isa’s mother. She was chosen by Allah to carry Isa in her womb without a husband or even getting married. This is an...

Why do I Write?

Assalamualaikum and Hi For years I've been thinking and looking for the answers and reasons to my question- Why do I write? Its not like I'm such a good writer or a brilliant person who has so many wise words and ideas to share. Its not that I have great language skills where I can show to the whole world and be proud of it. (Well, I do realize that many of my words are imprecise and most of the time not intriguing at all!) But why do I still write?... As I was browsing today, I've found an answer to my question . "to be able to talk with our real voice and for that voice to be heard. You write so that your voice can become bigger than just one person." ( The Confidence Guy ) To a certain extend, I agree.
